The school building was built in 1967 and later updated in 1994. The later developments provided considerable improvements to the design of the front facade and improved the appearance of the school. Inside, there are five traditionally designed, spacious classrooms and an area which has been opened out to provide flexibility with regard to teaching and learning.
The school grounds include gardens, woodland areas, a courtyard area with pond and flower tubs and a vegetable patch. These different areas provide excellent opportunities for learning and extracurricular activities. The playground provides areas for both quiet play and for more energetic activities. The children have access to a wide range of equipment that they can use as well as an adventure playground and climbing traverse wall. Furthermore, the school also benefits from close connections with the local Parish Church.
