Plans for a new food store on the former Rushgreen Service Station site in Lymm will be revealed to the public on Friday, May 23.
Developers The Brookhouse Group say it will create 35 jobs and have space for 57 cars.
A public exhibition will take place from 1pm to 8pm in the main hall at the Lymm Youth and Community Centre in Bridgewater Street.
Mike Nuttall, property director at Brookhouse Group said: “Our proposal is aimed at bringing this redundant, brownfield land back into use and offering the local community a number of benefits.
“As well as new job opportunities, the store would provide local residents with more shopping choice and convenience, reducing the need for them to travel out of Lymm for their grocery shopping.
“We have developed a design that uses natural materials and landscaping to complement the semi-rural surroundings and are in discussions with high-quality retailers who have expressed a strong interest in the site.
“We want to find out what local people think about our plans so hope that they will come and talk to us on May 23.
“There will be the opportunity to see visuals, ask questions and provide feedback.”
If planning approval is granted, an occupier would then be confirmed and the store expected to open in 2015.

Lymm Rugby Club’s junior colts half backs Mark Dixon and Alex Mitchell helped England Under 17s to end France’s five-match unbeaten run.
It is the first time in the club’s history that two Lymm players have appeared in an international fixture.
Mitchell started the game and was substituted at half time after creating the first England try with tricky open field running, before feeding in a teammate to score.
Dixon came on as a substitute after 10 minutes and played the rest of the game, giving a composed performance against a very good French side.
