Sunday 30th June 12 Noon to 5pm
A welcome return to Lymm Festival after a years absence, Lymm and Oughtrington Open Gardens is bigger and better than ever. It's your chance to spend an afternoon touring twelve glorious Lymm and Oughtrington gardens. Ranging from pocket sized to palatial, contemporary to Victorian, sunny to shady, there is something to delight all gardening enthusiasts.
We have a mix of eight brand new gardens and the welcome return of four gardens previously shown several years ago to demonstrate how they have matured and developed over time. Also a new development for 2013, our host gardeners will be updating you with their preparations and progress in advance of the event on the Lymm Open Gardens Facebook page, so please like and share with your friends.
There are also mini events and refreshments in each of the gardens so please arrive hungry and leave full, it is all for some great causes! Your £6 ticket (£2 for children) includes a brochure describing the gardens with a map for you to plan your individual tour, so please feel free to view as many or as few as you like. Ticket sales are in aid of St Rocco’s Hospice, whilst the mini events will be in aid of each of the gardener's favourite charities.
One of the social highlights of the Festival, and sunshine has been booked again for this year. Tickets can be purchased using the ticket order form, or at the Festival Box Office. Every year has been fully sold out, so please buy your tickets early to avoid disappointment.

8th June 2013
Lymm May queen is on the 8th of June this year and the parade will commence at 1.30 from eagle brow. Each year local businesses and primary schools take part in the event by entering a decorated float or by walking as a certain character. This year there is no theme to the procession so why not take part and enter your own float?
The committee will be choosing this years retinue on 24th March at 4pm, further details here.
We hope the people of Lymm will help to keep this event going by supporting the event as much as possible. The may queen has been running for over 60 years and each year we aim to get better and better. However in order to make this possible we need local businesses and individuals to help by coming to the event and supporting it (despite the English weather!). Any individual can create a float, for further information please contact chairman of Lymm may queen on 01925 755827
Thanks hope to see you all in June!
